Often used as laundry hampers, these lovely baskets are woven in West Africa using plastic strips and natural grasses. Each basket includes a fitted lid and cut-out handles.
We work with the Peace Corps to extend the reach of weavers in Senegal beyond their saturated local markets to homes across the US. The baskets are fair trade and the artisans are well compensated.
